I want to be a teacher, because so many children are left out in the cold, the forgotten ones. I feel tht a lot of educators, not all but a lot of them take to the students that already have it and the students that have it already, have parents or someone tht is there helping them. The "bad" students are the ones that are left out and most of the time they are the ones tht need us the most. Becoming a teacher is my way of giving back to the great teachers that I ahave had in the past that have helped me get to where I ma today. I want to be the teacher that helps all students the good one s and the bad ones. Children are molded in the beginning and I am studying early childhood education so i will be one of the positive people that help them before the world starts tearing them down.
The worst teacher I have ever had was in the foruth grade. She was evil I know there is a thin line between mean and firm. Our parents thought she was just firm and we, the student thought that was being mean, but it wasn't us it was her she was evil. She picked on us and ridiculed us. She never gave positive feedback everything was negative. The other students had to drop their apples or change there colors in their class she specifically chose angels for us to drop as to say we were bad we were moving from heaven to hell she was pure evil. I am 22 years old now and if I see her I am still afraid I can still hear her laughter at incorrect answers and see my classmates cry or try to play tough and wipe the tears away.
The best teacher I ever had was my first grade teacher she was amazing, in the classroom as well as outside the classroom. I was the youngest child of three at the time when I was in her room and my single parent mother worked second shift, my older siblings were engaged in extracurricular activities, therefore either they wouldn;t be able to go or I would have to go home alone. When she found out my situtation she took me under her wing and let me stay with her after school or go home with her until someone came home. Although, it was for a hour or two she didn't have to do it but she did.
